Tejas LCA Update HAL DRDO Light Combat Aircraft

The Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) named Tejas got cleared on the Initial Operational Clearance and given to the IAF by Defence minister, A K Antony.

The Tejas LCA was under development for more than 30 years which will be included in full fledged missions from 2012.

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) governed the LCA design and development from 1983 Rs 560 crore budget.

General Electric GE-F404 engines are powering the first 40 LCAs.Similar Posts:

Bangladesh Stock Exchange Market News Trading Suspended

Bangladesh stock market regulator suspended trading on two exchanges including Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) due to a steep fall of price.

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) decided to shut down at 12 PM as the index slipped by 617 points. The reasons are not clear as of now.

The Dhaka Stock Exchange General Index (DGEN) went down by 9.26 percent which is second biggest ever single-day fall in history. Before this, DGEN went deep such on December 19 2010 with 551.77 points or 6.73 percent.

SEC freed many restrictions like lifting the bank loan ceiling but the phenomenon cannot be kept in control. Many retail investors went on to stage demonstrations in capital Dhaka. Similar Posts:
