Gautham Vasudev Menon, a director known for love stories tried his hands on thriller with the latest release Nadunisi Naigal and fails miserably.

One line story is about a kid brought up in an abused environment becomes psychologically affected and murders lot of girls.

Yes, its good to try something new but that need not to be gross. The first half is full of sex, rape and murder. Its clear that the director wants to earn “no cliche” name but he shows city girls as aimless chicks or say desperate for sex or whatever.

This is the debut for hero and he is good with his job. The movie has no songs, not much music and just two hours length (but you might feel that a bit much, 90 minutes is ok).

The movie is neither targeting city audiences nor town or village. Women, guys with lovers, heart patients, kids, teenagers and softhearted guys are not advised to watch the movie.

P.S: I don’t know why directors nowadays depict Chennai as a worst city to live (as if thugs rule and all the girls wearing jeans are bitches) and (thanks to Eesan) village people are so innocent and imported from heaven. Can we sue them or something like that?Similar Posts:

From the ace director Vishal Bhardwaj, 7 Khoon Maaf is a different plot than convincing one. One should appreciate the director who braves to show a woman marrying seven times and in a way audience do not even feel bad about her.

A great story which should have been converted into a perfect screenplay, fails to present as expected. Logic is the main problem… lets face it…

The lady is on killing spree and each time the murder takes place, police just cannot zero her down? Can anyone move just like that from murder to honeymoon? And why? Is every reason so compelling that there is no other way than killing?

Music also is a major blow to the movie except the Kalinka darling song. All in all, the movie is worth to give a try not for the director but for Priyanka Chopra.Similar Posts:
