Tata Docomo has come up with a brand a new sms pack at Rs 5 giving the benefits of 75 local/national free sms with one day validity(midnight of recharge/activation). It's a Low Budget SMS pack which is easy on the wallet pack offered to prepaid customers. Rs 5 SMS pack will be an immediate Buy back Pack for customers who have daily high SMS usage, and once the TRAI Introduces the 100sms/day capping free. This pack will be a kick back offer for the customer who just needs to shell out Rs 5 from the pocket. Idea Cellular has also announced the detail tariff for its 3G data and Value added services and introduces various 3G Data Plans with categories like Sachet, Time Based, and USB Dongle Plan. To activate the 3G service, IDEA Mobile subscribers need to send SMS ACT3G to 12345 (toll free) or by dialing *147# (toll free) after sending the SMS the confirmation SMS will come and 2G Data Plan will be de-activated after the confirmation by subscriber 3G Data Plan "Pay As You Go" will be activated. For Device configuration, No additional settings are required for mobile Internet settings (2G & 3G), SMS SET to 12345 (toll free) and save the settings received OR call customer care on 12345. There are no separate APNs for 3G. Video Calling is automatically activated. For convenience of prospective 3G Mobile and High Speed Data service users, there is no changes for Voice and SMS tariff and it will be charged as IDEA 2G GSM Plan and customer can clubbed any 3G data plans specially tailored for all segments as their needs and suitability.The 3G local, STD and Roaming Video Call cost will be 5 paisa/sec (Rs.3/minute). The Idea Cellular 3G Roaming service for any Idea 3G customers will work across the country (idea 3G and non idea 3G circles), except in Orissa circles.

This facility allows Uninor prepaid subscribers to "transfer as well ask" for talk time to their family, friends or associates in-case of a requirement or any other exigencies. What makes this offer more innovative for customers is the fact that he or she can even ask for talk-time even at a zero balance.
Subscribers can transfer balance amounts ranging from a minimum of Rs 5 to a maximum of Rs 50 at one go; on any given day a maximum of 7 such transactions are allowed. This facility is available only between 2 MSISDNS of Bihar circle, anywhere in the country.Subscriber A can transfer any amount between Rs.5 to Rs.50 to subscriber B by dialing à *202**#. Talktime can be asked by dialing * 201**#. Every successful transfer of talk-time would be intimated through SMS to both the parties and Rs 2 will be deducted as processing fee from the amount transferred. To all out TT fans we are bringing the all tariffs at one shot to compare the best 3G being offered by the operator. One interesting fact about the private operator in 3G Video calls are that, all of them are charging @ 5ps/sec(Rs3/min). NO operator has introduced any rate cutter to reduce the Video calls. Just look at the basic tariff of DOCOMO which is Rs 90 and the free data usage given is 200MB compare to 100 MB free usage in the Airtel's 101 & Aircel's 92 plan. Aircel's Plans seems not to be much attractive as its restricted its tariff plan at 2.5GB usage only at Rs 975. Aircel's is offering the Plans at a restricted speed starting at 3.6Mbps for the Rs 90 plan & 7.2 Mbps for Rs 975 plan. Where In Tata & Airtel doesn't seems to be restricting its speed on the plans.
