Many Of them have recieving an sms from TD-hrcall on 8 nov 2010 stating that, TATA LIMITED:-your resume has been selected your letter already sent to your Email.kindly check your email properly.tata.appointment.2010@gmail.coMBut no letter in my mail.

Thanks for publishing the Fraud Email /SMS in the name of Tata Group sent by Cyber Criminals to trap innocent people and make them pay thousands of rupees.

You have rightly identified the Fraud Mail /SMS. This will help in alerting others about the fraud and save them from losing money.

The mail Id given belong to the Criminals and not of Tata Group. Anyone can notice the fact the Mail is not official mail ID of the Company which will end with the actual company website URL.

A Company will never takes money in some person's account. Also No company can be so poor to beg for money before interview. Naturally Criminals are using Company names to impress foolish job seekers.

The same Scam Mail/SMS was being sent earlier in the name of Hitachi, Videocon, Wipro, Sansui, Godrej, Sony, Bajaj, HCL, IFB etc.

Unlike you, many innocent people simply send money though the money is to be paid in the name of some individual and not in company name. If they, first search in Google about the background of the offer they would see the complaints posted and it helps them from getting trapped.

Its really foolish for people to pay money in an individual's name when job offer is said to be from a company! Consumers have to protect themselves by sharing information In Our Country Police acts very late only after people who lost money pester them with complaints.

Even then for this type of Cyber Crime police action is never prompt and they allow criminals to cheat people.

Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) Exam Result-2010 at www.upsc.gov.in

The Union Service Public Commission (UPSC) has published the Civil Services Preliminary Examination results 2010. You can check you UPSC result online on the official site of UPSC. The ups portal has the separate lists of successful and delayed candidates published on it. The Civil Services prelims exams were held in May and the results were to be announced in August. Those who have qualified will be eligible for appearing for the Civil Services (main) Examination 2010.

As per the examination rule, all the successful candidates will fill the application form again and apply. All details regarding the application form and procedure is available on the UPSC site.
All the candidates who passed and got through will get the DAF copy by post. The Civil Services Main examination date is October 29, 2010. The candidates appearing for the exams will have to download the form, fill it with their own hand writing and send it to UPSC.

IRCTC Tatkal Reservation Rules at www.irctc.co.in

Tatkal Reservation as you know is a facility arranged for last minute travelers and is offered only as first come first served basis. You can book Tatkal tickets in the IRCTC official website www.irctc.co.in. You can book Tatkal tickets for all the classes except for First class AC, Executive class and also Ladies quota. Better go through the Tatkal reservation rules before you start booking.

  • Tatkal booking is possible in all classes except First class AC and Executive classes.
  • Tatkal tickets can be booked two days in advance without including the date of journey and can be done only through e-ticketing.
  • Tatkal tickets are offered only for selected trains.
  • Booking starts from 8.00 a.m. onwards on the opening day. For example if you are about to travel on 29th October, booking starts from 8.00 a.m. 27th October onwards.
  • Availability for Tatkal Quota is to be checked before proceeding.
  • If you wish to cancel the tickets then 25% of the amount will be deducted excluding the Tatkal Charges and cancellation is possible before 24 hrs from journey.
  • Cancellation within 24 hrs of scheduled departure is possible but only for unconfirmed tickets. Cancellation charges are based upon the IRCTC norms.

In order to book tickets, you need to have an account with IRCTC. You can easily create an account by clicking on the Signup button in the Login box. Once you login using your credentials, click on the Plan my Travel and Book tickets and enter the From/To details along with class and check the e-ticket and Tatkal quota boxes. Before booking the tickets, you can check the availability, fare and the route.
