BSNL Offers Local and STD Video Calls Just At 30p

In a bid to promote 3G Mobile services, India's National telecom backbone and Pan-India 3G mobile service operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) today announced the promotional reduction in Video Call charges for its Postpaid and Prepaid 3G subscribers in all telecom circles.

With the massive reduction in Video Call charges, Now BSNL 3G subscriber can enjoy the next generation Local and STD video calling just at 30 paisa per minute. The above promotional tariff will be available for 90 days with effect from 1st June, 2010.

BSNL is the only service providers to have 3G spectrum across all the telecom circles.Recently the state operator crosses One Million 3G GSM Mobile and Data service subscriber mark and offers it next generation 3G services in more than 434 cities across India.

Special Offers In Sight As Videocon Breaches The Half Million MarkVideocon Mobile Services today announced that it has crossed the half million subscriber base in Mumbai.

To mark this occasion Videocon Mobile Services has come up with a special offer, which provides triple benefits on a recharge of Rs.83.

Under the triple benefits scheme, on every recharge of Rs.83, customer can not only avail better value tariff, but can also enjoy full talk value on all top-ups for 3 months besides enjoying 100 free SMS for 30 days.

Tata Indicom (Kolkata) Launches Happy Sunday Plan for Walky

Tata Indicom the CDMA mobile and fixed line services of Tata Teleservices Limited today announced the launch of new Special Tariff Voucher (STV) of Rs. 199 dubbed as “Happy Sunday” for its new and existing Tata Walky subscribers in Kolkata telecom circle.

The Happy Sunday STV-199 offers fabulous rates for calls made to all any networks and also gives two hours of free talk time every Sunday to Tata Walky Subscribers.

Priced at Rs 199, the voucher comes with a validity of 30 days from the day of recharge, and customers can make local calls to any Tata network number be it to Tata Indicom or Tata Walky phone at just 25 paisa per minute. Local calls to any other networks will be charged at just 35 paisa per minute. The  STD calls  will be charged at a flat 45 paisa per minute anywhere in India.

With the Happy Sunday STV, subscriber will get the 120 minutes of free talk-time that can avail of every Sunday includes 60 minutes of talk-time for calls within the Tata network and 60 minutes to calls on any other network furthermore, the free talk-time can be used for making both local and STD calls.

Uninor Launches GSM Mobile Services in 5 Telecom Circles

Uninor the youngest telecom operator today announced the launch of its GSM Mobile services in 5 telecom circles Mumbai, Maharashtra Goa, Kolkata,West Bengal and Gujarat taking its footprint to 14 telecom circles pan-India.

Uninor GSM Mobile Services Commercial Launch In Mumbai On June 1,2010Uninor the Youngest telecom operator is all set to launch its GSM Mobile Services in Mumbai telecom on 1 June 2010.

The core GSM network is live across Mumbai. Uninor will be 10th GSM operator in Mumbai, the 9 other operators are Airtel, MTNL, Vodafone Essar, Loop Mobile,Idea Cellular, Reliance GSM,Aircel, Tata Docomo and Videocon.

Uninor, the Indian GSM mobile brand of Telenor, which launched across 8 telecom circles in December 2009 and has already registered more than 4.2 million subscribers within just 5 months of operations.

The company hold Pan India UAS Licenses (for all 22 telecom circles) and holds 2G spectrum in 21 out of the 22 circles. The operator will be looking to consolidate its customer base that has touched 4.2 million across the eight circles that it operates in.
