We here by officially request our readers not to take the news Announcing TT Magazine & TT Web Paid Services as serious and we are not fools to lose our lovely subscribers and readers for the sake of money by making TT a paid service!

Do I apologize to you for playing this prank on the very occasion of APRIL FOOLS DAY? I guess I will be punished in Court of NUF (FUN)! The very funny part which we must tell you is, we received over 120+ comments 50+ phone calls, some bidding a good bye to TT, some very possessive about TT that they were ready to donate to keep the site going some wanted to strike a deal !

Some even found out that we were playing a prank and commented saying so, Sorry our intelligent readers we didn’t publish your comments during that time just to make sure we can  fool all others in a bigger way,we have now approved all the comments !However all the idea of this year’s TT April Fool Day’s prank came from RDB ! [He is shouting GIVE ME CREDIT Yaar!]

Tata Docomo Rationalized Its 3G Tariff PlansIn our last article we reviewed the 3G plans of TATA DOCOMO, Airtel & Aircel, we saw a good number of people voting for TATA DOCOMO's and the tariff Plans was supported by many which was the best and fitting in the pocket of many.

But TATA DOCOMO didn't seem to be happy with this Review,and today it rationalized its 3G tariff plan for PAN India.

Still not to lose heart as Docomo is still offering the extra usage in the same plan which is almost the same as existing one.Its also has discontinued its Higher denomination Plan of 1001 & 2001 from the 3G plans and Revised the RC501 to 601 instead.

But if we look at the tariff of Rs 22 which had one day validity is now being changed to Two days. The customers can still be happy as the additional offer which is given with the current pack is still the same as existing pack; we still need to wait the watch what tata docomo has in store for us.

Please Note:The additional data will only be available on below revised small screen plans for the month of April 2011.

· Existing Voice and SMS tariffs rates on each profile will be applicable.

· All existing top-ups, STV & FTT offers to be applicable.

· Video calls tariff to remain unchanged.

Tata Indicom Launches Special Pack for ICC World Cup Finals

Tata Indicom, the CDMA brand of Tata Teleservices Limited, has announced a special World Cup offer on RCV 150 for all the cricket lovers/fans across the country.

Under this offer, new and existing pre-paid customers can avail the benefit of extra talk time while Indian cricket team score a boundary. Re 1 will be credited in the account of the customer each time India hits a four and a sixer against Sri Lanka in the final match of World Cup 2011.

Additionally, customers will also get core talk time worth Rs.135 on the same recharge without any service tax or processing fee being deducted from the recharge value.

Sony Ericsson Launches Xperia PLAY First PlayStation Certified SmartphoneSony Ericsson today announced the launch of Xperia PLAY, the world's first PlayStation certified smartphone will now go on sale in shops in the UK, Germany, Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Russia, Hong Kong and Taiwan with further availability in an additional 6 markets over the next 2 weeks.

The Xperia PLAY will come with more than 60 games from the industry's biggest content providers including Sony Computer Entertainment, Gameloft, Electronic Arts and Glu Mobile.

In addition Asphalt 6 – the latest instalment of one of the leading and top-selling racing games will be available for free exclusively on Xperia PLAY.

The range of games available to download at launch is a combination of original PlayStation titles, well known 3D titles that take the full advantage of the graphical capabilities and controls of Xperia PLAY as well as popular casual games all optimized for the unique game pad.

Sony Ericsson has also formed partnerships with over 20 developers from big publishers to independents, from middleware providers Havok and Unity to engaging Android developers, to ensure a steady flow of new titles for Xperia PLAY.

Vodafone Buys Essar’s 33 percent Stake For $5 Billion

Vodafone Essar, country's second largest mobile service operator in terms of revenue and third largest in terms of subscribers announces that the Essar Group has exercised its underwritten put option over 22% of Vodafone Essar Limited ('VEL').

Following the exercise by the Essar Group of its put option, Vodafone has exercised its call option over the remaining 11% of VEL owned by the Essar Group resulting in a total cash payment of US$5 billion.

The British telecom major Vodafone Plc and its two Indian shareholders IDFC and Analjit Singh will acquire Essar's stake at a predetermined price. Final settlement is anticipated to be no later than November 2011.

Vodafone Group's published net debt figure already includes this US$5 billion.Vodafone is one of the world’s largest mobile communications groups by revenue with approximately 359 million customers in its controlled and jointly controlled markets as at 31 December 2010.

Vodafone Essar, in which Essar /Ruia grop had a 33% stake, has existed in various forms since the mid 1990, when it started operations as “Max Touch” in Mumbai telecom circle. After some time It was renamed as ‘Orange’ and subsequently ‘Hutch’, before Vodafone took a controlling interest in the Indian company.

British parent company Vodafone Plc will hold 75.4% stake in the Indian unit (Vodafone Essar) after today's transaction, while entities controlled by Indian shareholders will hold the rest 24.6%.

The time has finally come for the big change. Things are at their saturation points. Now its time we should let you know. It's time that we take some tough decisions. Telecomtalk has gained its popularity among you millions of people in just a short span of 3 years. It has earned itself the cherry over the cake and we would like to thank all those millions of readers who made it possible for us.

But some tough decisions are hard to be taken.

The team members have proved themselves worthy. Their hard work has finally paid off. Being freelancers they have now gained the capacity to draw in stuffs seriously. Time passed and seriousness seemed to grew and now its on their cheeks and beards.

Well now the TT guys are really busy with their own life. Starting up from Sanjay Bafna he is busy with his business Says “I pay Rs 1200 for my net no more TT im bored i need life", DB stuck with his Job flying from south to north every day says “Tarun im very tired u know”.

Doc RDB got his studies quotes “Abbay pass honay ka final sem hay “, San, Altaf, Ani, Kapardhi Sri,Omkar are busy flirting with girls still they are hunting for best match they have only one thing to say”Sallay TT may koi ladki nahi why to post “, they managed to get TT-Romeo badge.

Tushar shifted to Pune new company new job role says ” VAS VAS VAS” …. Chethan says no more blogging he will be into developing mobile apps says “Tarun you know have to code day and nit no time to write”,Anurag he is busy with his ever green DNS gal frd says “let me enjoy will post soon”.

Our words will be printed and sent to you. Apart from telecom stories, new offers, analysis, it will contain reviews, helpdesk and suggestion for buying new products.

As we are talking, it is expected that the magazine will be priced for Rs 80 on newsstands, but if you subscribe for it for 1 year you only have to shell out Rs 60 per issues plus 1 bonus issue so yearly subscription will be priced at Rs 720.

We are also planning to offer a gift with 2-yearly and 3-yearly subscription. May be it could be some memory card or mobile accessories.

We at TT management team also decided to start web subscription for $20 (Rs 900 approx) for a year. Those will be on web subscription will get inside news of telecom market, product reviews and other stuffs 1st on net.

We are now in talks with different payment platforms. We are also in talks with leading operators to make TT stuffs available on WAP or content based offerings. When you subscribe for TT@web you will get username and password via mail. Sharing username or password is STRICTLY not allowed, if you do so and if our system detects it you will be banned. As we expect we can able to start it in next 15 days.

For our regular readers, they can read our articles free of cost, but only to last 5 articles (but no exclusive stories like analysis or reviews). They cannot access old archives.However we are all giving away these subscriptions free of cost and at 50% discount.
