The plan is applicable for all new and existing prepaid subscribers with this plan prepaid subscribers can now enjoy all Loop Mobile calls 20p/min, other local calls 40p/ min & STD calls 50p/min while in Home Network. Idea Cellular launched its 3G Services on 28th March, 2011 in 3 circles – Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh and since then it has been progressively launching 3G services in 6 other circles of UP East, UP West, Maharashtra & Goa, Kerala, Haryana, and Andhra Pradesh. As of now Idea has launched 3G in 400 towns in 9 circles extending from Major Urban Markets, Tier 1&2 cities and finally reaching out to the deep remote areas. Idea Cellular also claims that it is committed to launch 10 new towns per day for the next 365 days to extend the experience to 50% of the existing subscriber base with the latest 3G Services which will progressively grow to cover 750 towns by mid 2011, and 4,000 towns by the end of FY12. Idea is the first operator in India to introduce Time based Billing plan for 3G services enabling users to avail high-end data services without worrying about the volume of usage. The SMS Pack STV-11 offers all Local, National and Roaming SMS just at 1paisa per SMS valid for of 30 days from the date of recharges. To activate the 1p SMS Pack, BSNL 2G / 3G prepaid customer has to recharge with STV of Rs.11 through CTOP UP. The reduced tariff/charges of SMS will not be available on 5 Blackout days that is [1] 31 st Dec [2] 1 st Jan [3] Valentine day [4] Diwali & [5] Christmas Day. Normal SMS Charge as per concerned plan will be applicable on the above/Blackout days. Apart from all prepaid plans available in Karnataka circle this STV -11 will also applicable for Karnataka Mitra Prepaid Plan and will be available only till TRAI issues guidelines w.r.t SMS Tariff.
