MTNL Mumbai Slashes ISD Call Rates for Nepal Posted: 03 Apr 2011 03:23 AM PDT State-run telecom major Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL), slashed ISD calling rates up to 45% for all calls to Nepal (Any Network) from its Landline and CDMA / GSM Mobile phones in Mumbai telecom circle. Now MTNL Landline and Mobile (2G and 3G) subscribers in Mumbai can make ISD calls to Nepal just at Rs. 5 per minute (existing tariff was Rs. 9.20/minute). The reduced ISD rates shall be applicable for calls to all Landline and Mobile phones of Nepal irrespective of the Network or Service Provider The new ISD tariff for Nepal will available to MTNL's Landline/CDMA/GSM customers as by default tariff- without any Add-on pack or cost in Mumbai circle. MTNL Delhi and Mumbai earlier reduced the ISD rates for 26 Countries in June, 2010 for Postpaid and Prepaid GSM (Dolphin/Trump) and Landline subscriber in September 2010 and offering ISD Calls as low as Rs. 1 per minute without any subscription charges. It is significant to say that MTNL, Delhi circle alredy providing the similar tariff for Nepal from 1st December 2010 as earlier we shared on TelecomTalk. MTNL ISD Call Tariff In Details-:
