Crafted with premium design elements, the HTC Sensation features the company’s latest customer-focused HTC Sense experience that puts people at the center by making their smartphones work in a more simple and natural way. The HTC Sensation is also the first smartphone to feature HTC Watch – an application and service that puts an entire library of the latest, premium movies and TV shows right at your fingertips, letting people discover the latest video content in an easy and visually engaging way.

HTC Sense introduces a customizable active lockscreen experience that transforms the lockscreen into a real-time window to the most important information and content, such as social updates, photos, weather or stock updates that are viewed by simply turning on the display. In addition, the new active lockscreen becomes a customizable gateway that lets people quickly jump to the most used features, like making a phone call, sending an email, taking a picture or anything else with the same quick gesture usually used to unlock the phone. Cheers Mobile Can Now Cheer with a Million Subscribers on its lists Posted: 12 Apr 2011 04:07 AM PDT Cheers Mobile Services today announced that it has touched one million subscribers mark across its 15 circles in India. Cheers Mobile claims that the majority of subscriber numbers are coming from Mumbai and Delhi (NCR) circles, a significant 289,732 customers from Mumbai and 664,024 from Delhi, respectively.
To support a potential surge in new subscribers and maintain visible availability of Cheers Mobile services, a 30,000 strong retail footprint has been established across the two cities. Three state-of-the-art contact centres servicing close to one million customers a month in 11 regional languages ensure unmatched service delivery and care for the Cheers customers. In Mumbai, the new entrant has showcased a substantial growth, acquiring almost 8-9% of the subscriber's additions, making it the mid-high growth range of the first quarter of 2011. Mumbai and Delhi is closely followed by circles of Madhya Pradesh, UP (East) and UP (West), accounting for the subsequent largest net additions.
The company is aggressively expanding its infrastructure support to ensure their customers the best in business. With over 2,000 base stations established in Mumbai and with 1,800 sites for Delhi the firm has completed 70% of its roll out infrastructure. A concerted effort is being placed by partnerships with leading names in the Telecom sector for requirements pertaining to IT Outsourcing, Telecom Equipments, Network Infrastructure and point of purchase channels to establish the same quality of network across all its 15 circles. |

Nokia’s Ovi Store Crosses Another Milestone : 5 Million Downloads Per Day Posted: 12 Apr 2011 03:37 AM PDT Nokia today announced that its Ovi Store has grown by nearly eight times over the last year and now reaches up to 5 million downloads per day, propelled by the latest Symbian devices – the Nokia N8, Nokia C6-01, Nokia C7 and Nokia E7 – which account for about 15 percent of the daily downloads. Increased demand for apps from the approximate 200-million-strong Symbian consumer base has seen the Ovi Store catalog grow to more than 40 000 apps, with about 1 000 added per week. This momentum has resulted in 158 developers from 41 countries now surpassing the million download milestone each for their apps. "In about a year, Nokia's Ovi Store has gone from approximately one million downloads per day to up to five million downloads per day today, and the velocity appears to be increasing, fueled largely by Series 40 and new Symbian devices," said Josh Martin, senior analyst, Strategy Analytics. |
